Finally someone found a way to push Roger to his limit. Of course, Roger was having a terrible day by his standard, but Janko is due some credit for the way he hung around. But in my mind that’s all he did. Converting 3 out of 3 breakpoints was an amazing effort for Tipsarevic but people forget that Federer was never really oh so close to losing the match like he was against Nadal at Wimbledon or Hewitt at Cincinnati. I do believe that more players will step up to give Roger a run for his money, but I don’t expect Roger to start losing to top 50 opponents on a consistent basis just yet. But note this down: this year will be the first year in many that Roger will have a double digit number of losses for the year.
